Co-Founders
Lynne Karli
Lynne began working professionally with dogs 40 years ago as a Veterinarian Technician at the Angell Memorial Hospital in Boston. She created and operated Shear Elegance Pet Services in 1980 offering Dog Grooming, Doggy Day Care & Dog Behavior Services and rescued a multitude of dogs over that time period while always keeping a pack on hand. Over many years and much experience, she has developed a unique method that allows a deep and useful connection between people and their dogs that adheres to natural law.

Chuck McStay
Chuck received a BS in Economics, Management and Marketing at Franklin Pierce University. Post college he was involved in all aspects of real estate construction and sales. He and his wife owned and operated a retail store for 20 years. He has started and operated a number of small businesses over the last 35 years and is focused on the Finding You Sanctuary as his way of helping to rescue dogs and reestablish his reciprocal, social contract with our honored warriors and our nation.

Bill Weiss
Vice President, Mission Networks at General Dynamics, Mission Systems where Bill has enjoyed a long and successful career. He centers his time-off around family, friends and supporting the arts and is an avid musician.

Lisa Steinka
Lisa graduated Southern Conn. State University with a degree in Recreation. She has been an Outdoor Educator working with School Groups and a Recreation Therapist with adult psychiatric inpatients. She stopped working to raise her son. She grew up with a dog and a cat and now has a miniature poodle and two young cats. Lisa "...met Lynne nearly 20 years ago when I got my first dog and for the past five years I have been working with Lynne and her behavior method. When she first told me about this project, I was fascinated and asked, How can I help?”

Tim Mitchell
Tim is a graduate of St. John’s College with a B.A. in Liberal Arts in their unique Great Books Curriculum. He managed a high end restaurant in Santa Fe that twice earned a five-diamond ratings. He traveled the US and Europe including a memorable stint in the famed cheese caves of Fromagier Affineur, Herve Mons. He continues to self-educate, read voraciously, write, and tackle new fields while tutoring students. Currently Tim is a Co-Founder and EVP of a two year old cyber security start-up, NimbusDDOS.

Ann Doherty
Ann, the proud daughter of a WWII Naval Veteran, comes to FYS with a diverse background. Her education was in Nursing, although in the end she found herself following a different path. Whether her years spent in the hospitality industry, or her tenure in the corporate world supporting C-Level Executives and employees globally as a Human Resource Manager, a similar thread ran through all that she has done – being of service to others. In recent years she has been busy building a personal home organizing business where she guides her clients out of chaos into order to simplify their lives with her company: MyTimeYours. Ann and her family have long been supporters of local shelters through charitable support but most importantly through adoption. Ann will tell you that her life is richer because of all the creatures, wild or domestic, that she’s been blessed to share this journey with.

Christine Haslam
Chris holds a B.S. Human Services degree from Fitchburg State College and as been rescuing dogs for the past 20 years. She has worked alongside Lynne for 5 years and has adopted Lynne’s method to help her in her work.
