We are undertaking a very ambitious project on behalf of veterans and their families, rescued dogs and those in the rescue community dedicated to serving them. Also, we will be conducting ongoing outreach to fully engage our local communities in which these veterans live.

We estimate that within our first full year of operation 30-35 veterans and as many as 40 rescue dogs will benefit from veteran pairings and community adoptions. These numbers can grow significantly once our full, FYS vision has been realized, especially when you consider how the added number of family, friends and others within the community exponentially increases the number of FYS beneficiaries.
